Gable Conservatory Style
A Gable conservatory has a pitched roof, with a triangular shape under the end of it, where the top of the triangle meets the edge of the roof. Gable-styled sunrooms and conservatories incorporate trusses, vertically from the roof or in a starburst shape. The number of trusses is dependent on the size of the roof.
The Gable style is typical of Victorian and Edwardian Sun Rooms and can therefore be designed in such a way as to blend in perfectly with houses from these periods. This is often an important consideration when dealing with planning permission for a Sun Room.
